Missouri is on the path to eliminating drunk driving. The state became the 18th state to require ignition interlocks for all convicted drunk drivers in 2012. MADD applauds Missouri on its continued efforts to keep roads safe. Sobriety checkpoints and on-going refinement of the ignition interlock programs are proven ways to continue saving lives.
